Title: TiviMate Original (Paid, Google Play): Delete & Add a Choice1 Playlist
Body:
TL;DR:
Delete your old list in TiviMate → Settings → Playlists, then add a new one using your Choice1 M3U and EPG URLs with your own username & password. If you ever used different URLs, delete them first.
Requirements
-
TiviMate Original (paid version from Google Play Store) on your Android TV/box.
-
An active Choice1 account + your service username & password (from your Choice1 client area → Services → Product Details).
Part A — Delete your old playlist
-
Open TiviMate.
-
Go to Settings → Playlists.
-
Highlight the old Choice1 playlist.
-
Long-press / hold OK → choose Remove (or Delete).
-
If you have multiple old/duplicate lists, remove them all.
Tip: Removing stale lists avoids conflicts and “empty playlist” errors.
Part B — Add your new Choice1 playlist (with correct URLs)
-
In TiviMate → Settings → Playlists, select Add playlist.
-
Choose Enter URL.
-
M3U URL (paste exactly, then replace placeholders):
http://choice1ip.tv:80/get.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD&type=m3u -
When prompted for EPG (TV Guide), choose Enter URL and paste:
http://choice1ip.tv:80/xmltv.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD -
Confirm/Save → let TiviMate sync.
-
Return to the channel list; your guide should populate within a minute.
Replace
YOUR_USERNAMEandYOUR_PASSWORDwith your Choice1 service credentials (not your client-area login unless they’re the same). Copy them carefully—no extra spaces.
Optional — Refresh and tidy
-
Refresh: In Settings → Playlists, long-press your Choice1 list → Update (or simply restart TiviMate).
-
EPG time shift: If guide times look off, go to Settings → EPG → Time shift and adjust.
-
Favorites: Re-add favorites after a reset (long-press a channel → Add to favorites).
Common errors & quick fixes
-
“Invalid account” / “Playlist is empty”
-
Wrong username/password in the URL → re-paste, type carefully.
-
Service not Active → check your Choice1 client area (renew if needed).
-
Old/duplicate playlists still present → remove all old lists and re-add once.
-
-
Buffering / channels won’t open
-
Reboot app/device; prefer Ethernet or strong Wi-Fi.
-
Turn VPN ON (US server)—some ISPs throttle IPTV, especially during live sports.
-
Clear cache: Android Settings → Apps → TiviMate → Storage → Clear cache.
-
Try a different VPN city; then update the playlist again.
